Olivia has been asserting her two-year-old independence in a number of ways. It's been fun watching her learn new skills. She wants to do everything by herself. And, she wants everything her way (who doesn't?) and is quite adept at letting us know when things are not exactly as she likes them.
She delights in choosing what to wear each day and dressing herself. ("No help, Mama.")

Putting on the
third pair of pants.

Just proving who really wears the pants in this family!
Here she is trying to diaper herself.

If only she were successful at this...

I love the assertion of independence! It's so frustrating sometimes and funny other times! Maybe if you practice the self-diapering she can get it down!
I found your blog from Jills, I hope you don't mind.
Olivia is growing up so fast. Just wait til she takes all of her clothes out of the bottom two drawers and puts them in the tub! Even better when the drain stopped flips after her tub and you don't realize there is still about 3" of water in it. Such great helpers.
Love her outfit! She'd be great for tacky day at school, it's all about the layering.
