For several months Olivia has been pointing out the letter O wherever we go. She gets so excited to see "her" letter. When she sings the alphabet song (usually getting just over half of the letters) she lingers on "Ohhhhhhh" before moving on to "Peee," which gets almost as much attention as "her" letter. It's so fun to see her make the connection between letters and the sounds they make. We owe a lot to Dr. Seuss's ABC book.
Olivia also enjoys counting. She counts from one to ten independently. Not too shabby for a barely-two-year old.
In other number news, at Olivia's last check-up she weighed 30 lbs. (80th %ile) and was 36 1/4 in. tall (95th %ile).
