Swimming!

Olivia loves swimming!  She's such a little fish.  Today was her third lesson with her new teacher.  (She's had a different teacher for each session, and every time she has moved up a level.)  It just happened that she's the only student in the class.  There's a four student maximum, and if you want private lessons you have to pay extra.  So Olivia is getting private lessons without my having to pay more because nobody else signed up for Level 4 at 8:30 AM on Wednesdays.  Awesome.

The first week, I think Olivia's teacher was slightly bewildered by her.  Olivia talked non-stop!  Her mouth was moving til the moment her face was in the water, and then she came up talking.  She talked while floating on her back.  She talked and talked and talked.  As I was watching her mouth move as I was also watching her teacher's face.  I think he wasn't quite sure what to do with her.  He's used to it now.

Olivia is learning the crawl and the backstroke, and dives for rings.  She's as at home in the water as she is out of it.  I love that she's so comfortable and is learning some great skills.  I imagine she'd learn a bit more
if she listened more than she talked!

Here she is posing for a quick picture before she got in the pool this morning.

I wanted a picture of the back of her cute swimsuit.  This is the best I could do in a hurry and with her striking so many poses in 30 seconds.

She loves getting to ride in the canoe and even enjoys being dumped out of it.
