Olivia Bo Peep

Olivia may not understand what the all the costume hullabaloo is all about, but she does know what a camera is for. I was able to get her to pose for these pictures only by letting her see herself after every few shots. Thank goodness for digital cameras!

Lamb E. Lulu goes most places with Olivia, so we thought Little Bo Peep was an appropriate character for her to dress as. It took me a week of sewing during nap times, a whole lot of "magic" words, and long-distance tips (thanks, Mom) to get it done.

Although Olivia would look cute in a brown paper bag, as the saying goes, we wanted her to have a really cute Halloween costume. It's kind of silly, I know. She doesn't know what it's for, won't remember wearing it, and probably won't ever wear it again. (I can't imagine anything it would be appropriate for before she outgrows it.)

Because I worked so hard on the costume and Olivia is so darling in it, and because I worked so hard to get Olivia to be sort of still for a few pictures, I'm posting more pictures than strictly necessary.

I am so impressed that you made that costume. It looks like it was lots of work. It also looks like her hair is going red. Is it just the pictures, or is she going to have red hair like her mom?
