"I'm a big girl, Mom."

She reminds me of this daily; hence, no more Toddler Tales. So we're moving on to Preschooler Prose. Perhaps something with "sassy" in the title would be more appropriate, but I just couldn't come up with something that sounded good. Preschooler Procacity? Preschooler Precocity? I'll have to think about it for a while. Give her a couple weeks, and Olivia will probably provide the perfect title.

A few things she's said to me recently that support the ideas of her growing up and being super sassy:

"Mom, I'm not going to do my job if you're so bossy." (Her "job" in this particular instance was to put her underwear on after her shower.)

"Mom, if you tell me NO one more time, I'm going to..." Fill in the blank with just about anything that sounds like a dire threat from the lips of a three-year old.

"Mom, you're frustrating me!"

And something sweet:

"Mom, when I grow up, I'm going to be a mom like you and take care of you."

I can't believe how long her hair is. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that we saw you and it seemed much shorter. I love hearing about her sassy (and entertaining) comments.
